I think it happened more on the fact that we never opened our eyes to seek the best people. We know who the best is, but we play politics even before politics. Anybody can fail, but in Nigerian government, don't try to use one person against another. You don't know how the person really is.
The issue is that every Nigerian has a picture of what he expects any new Government to perform but in the end everything wouldn't turn out so. The reason why a successor finds it hard to push on is cos he inherits incumbent loan deficit and other projects on ground. So for the country to move on he has to settle the former manifesto before implementing his. Everyone just wants to be in control of the power else there's no rapid change that any new government can bro about in Nigeria not even in the next 15-years.
This is a hard truth, but for the country to truly move on, she needs someone who has the country's interest at heart. Most of the people who wants to be in power and some of those who are already in power are there for their selfish reasons.
I was going through the explore page on Instagram, seeing lots of beautiful pictures, pictures of your favorite celebs here and there and almost all our celebrities are getting curvy miraculously, maybe that is what happens when you become a celeb...or am I wrong? Their 'new looks' is definitely going to mess with majority of their Fan's minds, especially young females who look up to them. Truth is a curvy woman is typically attractive to the ordinary eye, lots of vendors are out there selling creams and pills, just to satisfy bodily cravings, claiming they make you look curvy and all. Very few of them may work, while others won't. Other's who have money get surgery or really expensive injections to achieve the look of their dreams. If you invest time and money into these things, you won't have enough time to discover your true self. Jokes apart it's a trend that is getting quite irritating, it just shows almost all celebs are very insecure about som...
THE BEGINNING The kerosene had finished in the stove and there was no reserve, just after mum had finished preparing breakfast. School wasn't on session and I wished I had friends to visit as I was always indoors and going out was practically a taboo in our home. “Take one thousand from my wardrobe, buy kerosene with it", Dad said, bringing me back from my very short trip to space. I hurriedly left to take the money, mischievously I thought about buying kerosene 800 instead of 1000. Somehow I managed to get away with most of my silly acts. After washing the dishes and cleaning the table, I took the kerosene keg, an old groundnut oil keg that was washed clean and converted to a kerosene keg. It was past eleven, i had to hurry so we would make lunch on time. The walk from the house to the petrol station was a short but lonely one. The road was rarely used and there was three other roads to use. ‘Give me kerosene 800' I told the attendant. A familiar face walke...
A lot of people are depressed/sad, finding it difficult to feel free or happy because they don’t have money. From the time I have spent here on earth, I can tell you that if money is your problem then you are one lucky bastard. You’re so damn lucky! Earlier this year I had a 'small' problem.. there was money, not too much money but it was enough to keep me comfortable. This problem didn’t bulge at the sight of the money that was present at that time, this problem came with great pain. I gave it away… what use was it when it couldn’t pay for ease and less pain? Currently a lot of people are going through a lot physically, emotionally, maritally and all other "ally" there is. I need you reading this to know and understand that nothing bad lasts forever especially what you’re feeling now. Don’t give up or give in to that situation that’s trying to drown you. The fact that you’re alive today is a huge opening to several life changing opportunitie...

ReplyDeleteSomehow it depends on whoever that's in power, majority of our leaders found their way to the top for their selfish reasons.
